GENERATIONS
The Scarpa family has been on the top of the hairdressing fashion for three generations, my grandfather Micheal Scarpa began this long tradition when back in the 1940’s in Italy & paris he was winning various international awards when hair and up dos’s were extravagant works of art and striving for elegance and sophistication was a daily practice.
After opening various salons in Italy, four of his eight children followed in his footsteps and continued his passion for progressive hair design.
My father Nikolas Scarpa arrived in Australia in the early 1970’s where he opened his first hair and beauty salon in Double Bay, Sydney with my mother who is a beauty therapist. It is in this Salon that my siblings and I adopted our fathers love of hair dressing and so began the 3rd generation of Scarpa Hair.
It is this rich heritage of excellence in hair design, combining European attention to detail with modern Australian style that we bring to the latest addition instalment of Scarpa Hair.
Hair Styling is in our DNA, we will be honoured to share our passion with you in our new Double Bay Salon.
